According to statistics, there has been practically an 18 percent increase in the real estate market here in the past eight to ten years. This is the reason the houses here are called luxury homes. Only those who have the money to afford such houses invest here. The typical house here costs approximately double the rate of a house in the Valley. The houses that used to be sold for $175,000 ten years back cost about $400,000 now! That means practically a 235 percent increase in prices. The scarcer land gets, the higher the prices are expected to escalate.
