New Real Estate developments in Scottsdale Arizona is also following the trend
in the region which has seen significant pick up in construction activities, to
the point that “For Sale by Owner” signs are not abundant in the Scottsdale
neighborhoods. The Arizona Governor’s Office, working in conjunction with the
Arizona State Legislature implemented the Growing Smarter legislation Act of
1998. Such effort has enabled many communities to achieve higher economic
growth levels while preserving the beauty and character of their communities.
Residents of Arizona communities have been empowered in the process through
voting on general plans and restrictions.
Growth of Real Estate developments in Scottsdale
Soaring home prices and sales in Arizona metropolitan areas including Scottsdale
helped to push up the level of equity in the properties around the region. Most
Phoenix-area and Scottsdale neighborhoods saw a big jump in the prices of their
properties in 2004. The survey conducted by the Arizona Republic, concluded
that the Valley experienced a double-digit appreciation gains in 2004, to the
point that many Scottsdale communities saw appreciation of 20 percent or more
in the prices of their homes. People in Scottsdale seem not to be selling their
homes as much, for sale by owners signs are barely visible. According to news
reports, million dollar home sales in the Scottsdale neighborhoods and other
Arizona cities continue to rise by the year.
Scottsdale Developers are eying the Boomer Generation
As the Baby Boomer generation prepares for their retirement, real estate
analysts are predicting that more homes will need to be constructed to take
advantage of the next wave of new home seekers. Arizona continues to offer
retirees more reason to seek their retirement homes in the state. With good
weather, and lots of recreational facilities, there are good reasons why many
of the baby boomer generation may seek for their retirement properties in the
Scottsdale and other Arizona communities.
