developments. According to an article by Pat Flannery which was published in
The Arizona Republic, January 27 issue, the growth in real estate development
in the State of Arizona has been underestimated. According to economist Elliott
Pollack, the projections of 6 percent growth in some areas such as the West
Valley is a conservative estimate. Pollack, who heads his own economic and real
estate consultancy, said "What I'm telling you is, the West Valley is going to
capture more (growth) than is generally believed".
