Buckeye Arizona Real Estate Market Could Exceed Phoenix By 2015
The popularity of Phoenix is causing some major changes to the Arizona
landscape. With the rapid growth, a steady economy and an influx of tourists,
more and more Phoenix residents are making there way out of the city and moving
to small towns that only once seemed to exist on the map. With Phoenix being
ranked as the seventh largest city in the US, its no wonder that many small
communities are becoming a developers dream.
An Old Western Farming Town
The town of Buckeye is fast becoming a burgeoning community. This small farming
town was founded in 1888. Buckeye is roughly located just thirty-five miles
west of Phoenix. Making it an ideal choice for those who want a small town
atmosphere for their home life. However, that type of lifestyle does not seem
to be one that will last much longer.
Buckeye: Next Big Arizona City
With the onslaught of growth in Phoenix, Buckeye has been targeted and already
has a new development plan in the works. The Buckeye voters gave thumbs up for
the Douglas Ranch to be built. This community is estimated to bring in a figure
of 300,000 people. Not to mention the steady stream of people making their way
to the already preexisting homes. That figure is also near the 300,000 mark.
With a number of master planned developments that are on the drawing board
within the town’s limits, Buckeye can surely surpass the growth in Phoenix by
the year 2015.
Homes are Not the Only Building Plan
Of course with homes you need stores, restaurants, medical centers and
entertainment. And just about anything else an eager developer can think of.
This has caused some locals to be concerned. Almost every bit of alfalfa and
cornfields has a sign with “coming soon” or “for sale” boldly displayed. While
Buckeye may have once been a quiet, serene place with an old fashioned Main
Street, it now is considered a main street for new development. By Denise
