Arizona Land For Sale
Land in the Southwest is being bought at a record pace making it a literal hot
market. Before you empty your pocket, checkbook, bank account and possibly
retirement account take a close look at those prices. As we ride the longest
economic expansion on record people are clamoring to buy vacation land and
second homes while they can afford them. The problem is that they might not be
able to afford them. If you are looking to purchase a good chunk of land, keep
in mind that lenders put you in a speculative investment category and will
charge you a higher percentage rate than if you were purchasing a ranch home in
town.
Change of Seasons
Where to buy in Arizona depends on what you are looking for. If you want a big
city with a lot of culture then Phoenix and the surrounding areas is the way to
go. It is one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S. with an increase in
population of almost 50% between the last two census years. If you are looking
for the dry, arid dessert then the obviously solution is to go south. The
Phoenix/Scottsdale area will provide the dry heat you’re looking for but not
the dessert, move a little further south and you’re surrounded by it. If you
are looking for a dessert get away but don’t know if you can take temperatures
in the triple digits for up to four months a year then you’ll want to move
somewhere a little north of Phoenix. Try Sedona, the temperature is cooler and
there is even an occasional snowfall or two. Sedona is also known as a
wonderful community built around local artists. So if you are an artist and
looking for kindred spirits this is the community for you. If you are a sucker
for seasonal changes Arizona can even accommodate you in Flagstaff. Seasonal
snow is common and temperatures can dip quite low providing a mild but apparent
seasonal shift.
Arizona Has It.
No matter what you’re looking for, Arizona has it or is only a day’s drive away.
Consider the proximity of the ocean, skiing, and Las Vegas. It’s a true oasis
in the dessert.
